Takeshi Kikuchi

Chief Studio Officer

Takeshi Kikuchi first joined Tohokushinsha Film Corp., where he was responsible for television commercial production. He joined Kadokawa Shoten (it was then known as KADOKAWA) in 2004 and has since been engaged in the anime business.

In 2023, he was appointed Executive Officer and Chief Anime Officer (CAO), overseeing a wide range of cross-media initiatives including anime, live-action films, games and events. Leveraging his extensive experience in visual content production, he was appointed Chief Studio Officer (CSO) in April 2025.

Additionally, he serves as President and Representative Director of Kadokawa Daiei Studio Co., Ltd. and as an Educational Advisor for the KADOKAWA Anime & Seiyu Academy. Kikuchi also holds board member positions at numerous anime studios and voice actor agencies.

He graduated from Meiji University.
