Takeshi Natsuno

Chief Executive Officer

Takeshi Natsuno graduated from Waseda University before joining the energy industry, later earning an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. After serving as vice president of a startup company, Natsuno joined NTT DOCOMO, INC., launching services including i-mode(the first mobile Internet service in the world) and mobile payment as executive officer.

He joined DWANGO, a video platform service company after leaving DOCOMO. Also started a new career at Keio University as a guest professor. DWANGO merged with KADOKAWA in 2014, and Natsuno has been CEO of KADOKAWA since 2021.

He currently also serves as Specially Invited Professor and Director of Cyber Informatics Research Institute, Kindai University, as well as holding independent board member positions at Trans Cosmos, Gree, U-NEXT HOLDINGS, and Oracle Japan. Also serves several government jobs as a committee member.
