Naohisa Yamashita joined Kadokawa Shoten (former name of KADOKAWA) in 1981. He was appointed Director of the company in 2007 and subsequently served as Director at KADOKAWA CORPORATION and its subsidiaries for many years.

Leveraging his extensive experience and deep knowledge in the publishing field, he has made significant contributions to the company's growth. Also demonstrating exceptional ability in human resources and general affairs, he was appointed Representative Executive Officer, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), and Chief Literature & Film Officer (CLFO) in 2023, and Chief Manga & Light Novels Officer (CMLO) and Chief Publishing Officer (CPO) in 2026.

He brings abundant experience and profound insight to the overall management of KADOKAWA.

He has a BA degree from Keio University in Economics.
