Naohisa Yamashita joined Kadokawa Shoten (it was then known as KADOKAWA) in 1981. He was appointed Director of the company in 2007 and subsequently served as Director at KADOKAWA Corporation and its subsidiaries for many years.

Leveraging his extensive experience and deep knowledge in the publishing field, he has made significant contributions to the company's growth. Also demonstrating exceptional ability in human resources and general affairs, he was appointed Representative Executive Officer, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), and Chief Literature & Film Officer (CLFO) in 2023.

He brings abundant experience and profound insight to the overall management of KADOKAWA Corporation. He brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to the overall management of the company.

He graduated from Keio University with BA Economics.
