Dance: KADOKAWA DREAMS

KADOKAWA DREAMS is a professional dance team formed in October 2020. They are a member of D.LEAGUE, a professional dance league originating from Japan. Consisting of players from all around the country, the team won its first championship in its third season in the league, 2022-2023, and it won again in the following 2023-2024 season. In both their name and reality, KADOKAWA DREAMS is an embodiment of dreams. In 2025, the team transitioned to a new system with a mission of pursuing the sustainability of entertainment, including dance, with the goal of communicating the great attractiveness of dance to more people. DREAMS will expand their activities beyond D.LEAGUE to international dance competitions, concerts, live performances, music production, streaming businesses to contribute to local society through events and workshops, etc.

Mahjong: KADOKAWA SAKURA KNIGHTS

Established in 2019, KADOKAWA SAKURA KNIGHTS belongs to the M.LEAGUE, a national professional league for competitive mahjong teams. The team was named after TOKOROZAWA SAKURA TOWN, KADOKAWA’s cultural complex that opened in Tokorozawa City, Saitama as a hub for pop culture. The team won the M.LEAGUE championship in the 2021-2022 season, and it communicates the fun and wonderfulness of mahjong.
Mahjong was recognized as an international mind sport in 2017, and its popularity is increasing as it is an intellectual sport that people of all ages can enjoy. By running the mahjong team, we contribute to the promotion and development of intergenerational and international interactions.

Game: FAV gaming

FAV gaming is a professional esports team managed by KADOKAWA Game Linkage, a company well known for its Famitsu, Dengeki Online. Its slogan is ”Fun And Victory”. The team is based in FAV ZONE, which was built on the premises of our TOKOROZAWA SAKURA TOWN (Tokorozawa City, Saitama). The team has an outstanding track record in the fighting game division. They won the STREET FIGHTER LEAGUE (hosted by CAPCOM) championship. Beyond competitive activities, FAV gaming is engaged in activities to popularize esports in Japan and overseas and broaden its base. For example, it organizes esports camps for high school students in partnership with Saitama Prefecture and it cooperates in international exchange events between Ibaraki Prefecture and Taiwan.
