Bandai Namco Entertainment & FromSoftware collaboration “ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN” ships 2 million units worldwide on day of release!〈FromSoftware〉
Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Nao Udagawa) and FromSoftware, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Hidetaka Miyazaki) announced that their new title “ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN,” a spinoff of joint developed action RPG “ELDEN RING” (published by FromSoftware in Japan and by Bandai Namco Entertainment in overseas territories), has shipped over 2 million units (*1) worldwide on the day of its release.
“NIGHTREIGN” is a co-operative action survival game in which you join forces with other players and face increasingly overwhelming situations. While inheriting elements from “ELDEN RING” such as a selection of enemies and weapons, the game design of “NIGHTREIGN” has been overhauled for a fresh and exhilarating experience. As with “ELDEN RING,” this title combines the development capabilities of FromSoftware and the overseas networking and marketing power of Bandai Namco, shipping over 2 million units on the day of its release, Friday 30th May 2025.
